DSHA stands for Deterministic Seismic Hazard Analysis and PSHA stands for Probabalistic Seismic Hazard Analysis. By using these two methods site specific SHA (Seismic Hazard Analysis) is performed especially for very very important structures like nuclear power plants ,large dams ,bridges etc. these methods are used complementary to each other and their use make the structures economical and safe.1 point
