  1. Salam How ductility of a beam section (t or rectangular) is effected by reinforcement ratio? i know the concept of rho(balance), rho(min) and rho(max), my question is about ductility design and reinforcement ratio!!!

  3. As Rana has made a comment, refer to PCA notes; they have dealt with it in detail. Yes, T-beam's deflection can be different than rectangular beam, and that depends upon location of compression force (positive or negative moment). Strength does effect deflection as stiffness is relate to compressive strength (E is related to f'c).
