  2. There can be a number of reasons. To start, your model is not correct. Your loading might not be correct. When you say that your beams or columns are failing, it is very easy to check the capacity of beam or column manually and fix the issue. Have you checked your manual capacities and confirmed if there isn't anything wrong with your models. I don't rely on models as they are mostly garbage in and garbage out. Show us your number that you have done and if you don't know how to do that, spend some time on basics and manual calcs.
