All, Starting today, I would be experimenting with some advertisement options on the forum. That would include making ads visible to guests (non-registered members) only. It would also help me estimate the amount this site can pay for itself. Right now, the estimated projections are very low in-terms of revenue (5-10% max of yearly budget). Members would always see a clean forum (no ads). Guests, however would be subjected to Ads. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome. Thanks.

it is good idea, even if limited ads for members is required to compensate the self supported forum site .

it depend on the project type(steel, concrete, building, bridge etc) and quantity of work. steel fabrication drawings are more time consuming and higher rates (fabrication draftsmen are less) while rcc structure shop drawings are comparatively less time consuming and have less charges. it can not be said the just drawings will cost 0.5-1% of project cost, it is possible for some projects, it is too much for just drafting of big projects.

It really need fiances, time and extreme effort to arrange and manage such a website having a good interface along with updating options of social world. It is really good sir. You have initiated a chain and it is really making change in Pakistani community of engineers who rely on internet a lot for learning. We try our level best to spread this forum as much we can. First, do not apply loads to null lines. Always develop a habit to define a dummy frame sections of lets say 50x50mm and then model these lines for such loads. Second, you are having huge values.......huge values of what? displacement?
