  1. Since slabs of both rooms are two way, and there are no beams inside rooms, load coming from slab will be directly distributed on the central and adjoining walls. I thought it would be better to consider 22.75×1 strip for whole wall for a conservative design as at the edges load is less as compared to the central portion of the wall. Your approach is also correct. Is this methodology correct to find out bottom width of the masonry wall footing? Please note that it's a typical masonry footing and brick masonry will directly rest on PCC 1:4:8 pad.
