yar i would recommend that u use SAP2000 u can get a cracked verion on cd in the market it can seisimc analysis but wat sort of analysis are u dealing with time history analysis or pushover analysis. But u cant define joint properties between maonry and the concrete confinements it will go with the default parameters. plus masonry is a non-linear material so u should know how to input those material properties. Plus there is another software ABAQUS but its not used in pakistan and it is quite difficult and less user friendly as compared to SAP2000 because it has varied application in different engineering disciplines. I did a similar project in my MSc and i did it in sap2000 but it was not quite in depth just a comparison between unconfined and confined masonry.
