  1. Thickness can be determined by punching shear and beam shear formula
  2. I have building with 20 storey. The lift core started from the Base. I have another lift core which is started from third storey. Can I model this core as a shear wall from third storey. What I need to consider for irregularities
  3. Are these columns circular or rectangle. If these are circular then spacing of spiral looks OK. If rectangular, check ACI Soil on these areas normally hard to soft rock categories, which have good bearing capacity. Please keep in mind that all joints should be detailed properly. And casting should be inspected thoroughly
  4. Top bar in slab at middle span is not required except for temp shrinkage only

  8. I am not prefer to provide temperature reinforcement in foundation. Because foundation are under the soil and there is very minimal temperature variation isnide the soil
  9. First make slab as 6ft deep rib type beams at 2 ft interval both side and concrete these rib first than after some days pour the remaining slab. These may help to the distribution of load on formwork. Use steel prop's and plates
  10. For zone 3 4, construction of column should concrete upto mid height. Because joint should be flexible and monolithic in these zone
