sure it is responsibility of architect but in field engineers supervise the work !!! there are chances when such events come to their jurisdiction :-)

being civil engineering community we deal with buildings offices residences mosques etc here i need to share one common carelessness about qibla direction i have seen WC facing qibla direction which is being muslim to be taken care of. so how we can find the exact qibla direction???and also i request seniors to maintain a check where ever they are responsible for it???

these two types are commonly known in civil engineering , and mostly one calls himself the superior to other. what is the truth and reality in this comparison ???

how do we measure the length of a bar with 90 degree hook at both ends bars are required for a square footing size 9'-9"x9'-9",bar dia #5,i calculated it as 9'-9" - 2xcover + 2x(12db+pi x 6DB/4), where DB is the dia of bend i.e 3.75" for #5 bar and db is the dia of bar i.e 5/8" .is it ok???

when egg is good it sinks in the water but when it is rotten it start floating,according to science denser the matter it sinks and lighter the matter it floats so in case of egg nothing is taken out from egg as it is closed by shell how it once sinks and then floats even nothing is taken out or put in the matter it has?????

id do it with having and studying concepts of structural dynamics dnt wana perform it just on any software,i have not studied dynamics yet but have competent supervisor who did and he is willing to guide anyways,i have whole year to do my project so that i can study n build my concepts of dynamics with my supervisor at my own as uni doesnt have dynamics in the syllabus list!!!

hmmmmm!!!it is advance course sure but final year project students select one project and that wud be related to one of the general studies and this let the students to move towards some specific field .one can not choose the whole civil engineerining subjects,m not arguing sir im just discussing :-)
