for applying lateral load on basement wall OK but how we can assign lateral spring especial for each direction and in etab lateral spring can not accept minus sign?

hello sir: please I ask for design of columns in etab ,I think two method are found in etab ,1st is normal method by designing column as frame and the rebar area will be shown , the second is by defining column as a pier and giving label of pier to it then we get the rebar area as pier rebar area, the results of the two method are different and may be the 1st method give us the higher value please verify which method is right or correct?

so please if a small part say 25% is pass the modulus of rupture can we suppose the wall is cracked
