Dear Sir, Could you please advise which modification factor should be modified so that the wall only take gravity load. I have tried f11, f22, f12, 311, m22, m12 to be 0.1 but the wall still take the most of base shear. In addition, for the 2nd way, if removing the shear wall, how is the support of the moment frame (beam) at the connection with the shear wall? Case 1: beam is fixed to shear wall. Case 2: Beam is pinned to shear wall. Thank you.
