if we are running cracked section analysis then which moments we should take. safe or etabs? in my scenario. i have 44 feet long span with section 12x27 beam section for retrofitting. at site cracks appear which are due to deflection in my opinion. so for retrofitting, we need to take safe moment or etabs moment??? values difference are more than 80 kips ft in safe and etabs.
