  1. And yes, loads are applied to all stories, I have checked that.
  2. Thank you for your response. I've assigned body constraints in the points where some beams connect to the "middle" of the shear wall. If I don't do that, model behaves like beams are not connected to the wall, period of oscillation is above 100s, and modes of modal analysis basically consists of displacements of those beams. However, when I remove body constraints, deformation due to the seismic load looks normal and moment in the shear wall increases. So basically now I am trying to set shear wall as a support for beams without using constraints. Any advice? Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi everyone, Does anyone know how to solve the following problem: I have modeled a 9 story building with 2 cores (4 shear walls in X and Y directions). Columns should transfer only vertical loads, and shear walls horizontal loads. When I run the analysis for earthquake and wind loads, deformation in Y direction is as expected (shear walls are bending like cantilever beams and I have expexted moment in section cuts), but for some reason in X direction deformation looks like its primarily shear deformation with very little bending. Moments are 5 times lower than in Y direction. I am trying to solve this problem for days, so I would appriciate every possible help. I will attach the model as well as screenshots.
