Salam, I am trying to design an RCC Frame structure on ETABS according to ACI318-14.Generally which types of loads shall i assign on structure ? Plus should i design with the default load combinations that etabs has from that code. Thanks

Salam I am facing an issue in ETABS. I have defined the sections with property modifiers and modeled the beam/columns of those sections. But when, in model screen, I right click the structural component (beam,column) and see the property modifiers , they are not actually assigned. I am not sure whether ETABS will take them into account or not in analysis. I have attached screenshots. p.s: apologies if my question is incomplete because i've started learning the design/ETABS recently

Salam! I'm a fresh Civil Engineer who is not much familiar with design/analysis of actual buildings. Someone please elaborate how the whole process of design of a building is carried out?. Another thing I want to ask is to please suggest some reading/watching material(book/notes/tutorials/udemy course etc. ) to get me familiar with the core concepts of structural Engineering is easiest way (not the Nilson,McCormic type of books). I, being met with worse structure subjects teachers in UNIVERSITY haven't been able to learn this beautiful subject to my full potential. Now I'm trying to self-learn things that I missed in uni. Any advice/suggestion would be much appreciated. Wassalam
