  1. Thanks Dik, attached is one of the trials i did, i was considering to add coarse aggregate 5mm? to try getting the strength up to 6Mpa? i cant use larger aggregate as the product has to flow into the mould, and not shorten the life of the hose pump to much. aircrete.xlsx
  2. I have the equipment to make the mix myself. Have mixed 3:1 s/c and had it tested at 53Mpa so the base design is good, but when i add foam to 1440 KG/m3 the strenght drops to 3mpa, i am hoping for 6mpa/
  3. Thank you Dik, I call it a mortar because it has no coarse aggregate in it. this maybe incorrect terminology. it is masonry units 200mm x 200mm x 400mm. the compressive strength is lower than anticipated.
  4. Hi All, i am working on cellular concrete mix design to manufacture building blocks. i am having trouble achieving the required compressive strength and am hoping to get some advise here? the starting point is 3 sand, 1 GP Portland cement, .4 W/C ratio. and foam added to reduce the density to 1400kg/m3. currently i am only achieving around 3Mpa. i require 5-6 Mpa. i have used various mix designs and additives on which I can elaborate if required. any Thoughts on ways to increase the compressive strength would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
  5. Hi All, I am Dave from western Australia, I am working with light weight mortar and unfortunately the problems that go with it.
