    Assalamualaikum I made a column that is fixed at one end and free on the other end. When I apply an axial compressive load on it. It gives the shear stresses i.e SXY, SYZ and SZX. Why it shows shear stresses when there is only axial load at centroid of the cross section? *Attached is the file showing the shear stresses sxy, syz and szx
