  1. Hi members During modelling, Is it required to model the embedded columns(modelled as frames) embedded with a RC retaining wall(modelled as a shell) or is it possible to ignore the column in the analysis and provide nominal reinforcement in the column. But since this column is required at upper levels, It will be floated at the termination level of the retaining wall in case of ignoring the frame. Please clarify which approach o be followed is correct??? Please Refer attachment. I am performing a FE analysis using ETABS Thanks in advance
