  1. Respected Engineers! I am gonna design a 4 stories residential building in seismic zone 3 where I provided 1 elevator. I have done the modeling of the building and elevator. But I need help about the elevator loading. I contacted Elevator manufacturing companies and told him the size of elevator i.e 6' x 6', they told me that a total load of elevator plus machinery will be 6 tones, and I added the maximum load of occupants as 1 tone which collectively becomes 7 tones load. Now I need your help in the application of load over the walls in ETABS and how to check its stability or crack analysis? How do I consider this load, Dead load, Live Load or somewhat dynamic load? I am also gonna attach the screen short of ETABS model for better illustration. Please suggest me some tutorials or explain it in detail over here. Thanks in advance.
