  1. Aoa, I am trying to validate my manual calculation with SAP2000 for moment distribution method. Attached is the Microsoft excel spread sheet calculation with SAP2000 file. When i remove the joint displacement (settlement) from joint b. The software matches the calculation with the manual calculation but when i apply the joint displacement, the software calculations does not matches with the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. I need to explain it in my online class (hopefully someone reading this post will response ASAP). Can some one help me out on this? I guess i am doing mistake in fixed end moment due to support settlement but i am not able to find out the exact reason. Example - Beam with support settlement.xlsx Sap2000 Varification.rar
