May I ask how can I apply the vertical component of earthquake in response spectrum analysis in ETABS with the ACI, UBC, or ASCE code? Also, do I have to apply the redundancy factor for Response Spectrum Analysis? -
Hi , im working on my thesis and i need a program that can give me moment curvature diagrams of columns and beams, i have already seen SAP2000 and Etabs section design , but it doesn't gives me much confiant results, as i want a model with confined concrete , i read about XTRACT but i couldn't find it on the web (pay or cracked) , does any one has another program that does this (or if you have the XTRACT program if you can give me the download link i would be very thankful).

As you know, we are forced to convert the ETABS results to executive drawings. This is a time consuming job. Is there any software that accept ETABS outputs and generate drawings? Specially for a reinforced concrete structure.

Hello dear fellow Engineers, I would be thankful to all those Masters and pHD's on this site if U can Recommend me doing fyp on Siesmic retrofit of Existing Brick Masonry Structures. Am planning to build a user friendly software to determine the most economical retrofit and its cost. Any suggestion would be really helpful regarding it's feasibility. Thanks
