  1. How to overcome story drift ? If max drift value at story x is 1/40 and direction is x then what changes should be made on that story x ?
  2. Hi, I am a new member of this forum. I have analyzed a four story concrete frame building using ETABS. I determined the seismic story drifts and checked them with the allowable according to ASCE 7-10. The problem is that the fourth, third and first story drifts are within the allowable range, but the second story drift is more than the allowable range. Is that possible? Or have i made any mistakes?
